First and foremost, I'm sure everyone noticed THAT absence. Again.  The past year and a half has been a strange one, with every twist and turn imaginable. The first year was probably one of the worst I've dealt with so far, but the past six months have been a rebuilding process.  Despite many times where I considered just jumping back into my old tendencies, I've pushed myself to be different, and changed a lot.

I like to think I still have all of my happier/good traits, but I've also worked out my worst ones.  Through the swap, I'm finally completely resettled in a supportive household with the people I was with at 19, before I left for the Marine Corps and went a little loopy.  My boyfriend, our roommate and I have begun to push each other to actually chase our artistic endeavors.  Daniel, my boyfriend, has been my best friend for 15 years... and a lot of putting off on my end. The writer of our trio.  Luke has become a big brother to me, our extremely talented musician and also the supplier of random new art mediums to stump me... (Such as oil paints. Gr....)  These two are the first to jump straight into my weird ass world with me, and you can see fun characters for them on the new account.

I'm 27 now, I've come to terms with my stability. I've realized that I don't need everything, I just want to be happy. Hell, maybe I'll end up with a family here in a few years.

The general point of this Journal is to say thank you to everyone who has stuck with me through all of this, apologize to anyone who was affected by the last ten years, and ask anyone interested to join me in my new age.  It's become high time for me start fresh, declutter my life and everything around me and look only on to the positive future. 

That being said, Xappho is no more.  Xappho was a young, naive and immature me.   Therefore, I'd like to introduce my new account:  

For the most part, this account is only going to be from now to the future. I don't want to be burdened by any of my old things... Though I'm still deciding on possibly pulling some of my favorites into an 'Old Collection' Folder on there.

... Our internet is in fact NOT fixed. -_-   It seems that our modem is old, and needs to be replaced, hence it's being faulty.  Usually it's off for like 12 hours of each day, so you have to pick the right 12 hours to want to use it. This time around, it worked for two days straight, and then .... died for like four. Maybe five. I can't even remember. All I know is that my entire household has been losing their minds.   We've officially watched all 8 billion movies that we own.  I've read three books. We've gone through a good deal more booze than usual. And at one point moved all five TVs that are in our house into one room and had a giant video-game off.

Sad how necessary the internet is these days. And since we thrive on hulu and netflix, even our tv time has been chopped in to millions of pieces.

K. Well. Got lots of art to work on. Just doing the ol' headsup of sorts.
